Autumn Yoga Routine

Here is a short, gentle Yoga routine to help nourish & strengthen your Lungs. If done regularly it may help you to breathe more deeply & effectively. Which can increase your over-all feeling of Well-being & improve your immune system.
​According to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Autumn is the time to nourish & strengthen our Lungs, in preparation for the Winter months.

If you have back issues, please consult your Physical therapist, before doing any Yoga routines. ​

​Autumn Yoga Routine
(15 mins)

Here's a short, gentle Yoga Routine created for Autumn time (or anytime!).
​In Traditional Chinese Medicine Autumn is associated with the Lung & Large Intestine Meridian (Channels). This routine is focused on increasing the flow of Qi (energy) along these channels, as well as helping to strengthen the lungs & release toxins.

Summer Yoga Routine
(20 mins)

Here is a short Yoga Routine created to help boost your energy & feeling of vitality!
In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Summer is related to the Fire Element, which is connected to our feelings of; openness, warmth & energy! 
If the spark within you in feeling a little dull or flat.... this short routine may help.

Summer Yoga Routine
(15 mins)

Here’s a gentle routine for Summer incorporating; Breathwork, Mindful Movements, Qi Gong & Yoga Poses. The focus is on stretching the Meridian Channels of the Fire Element & enhancing the flow of Qi through them. The 4 Channels of the Fire Element run along each arm, therefore the arms, as well as the shoulders & neck have been targeted in this routine.

After the final pose in this routine, you can rest & relax for a while in Childs Pose or Savasana (Corpse Pose). If you have a block, it may come in handy for some of the poses.

If your Fire Element is OUT OF BALANCE you may be experiencing regular issues such as; anxiety, restlessness, difficulty concentrating or sleeping & feelings of isolation. When you’re Fire Element is IN BALANCE, you generally feel vibrant & joyful, & your heart is filled with warmth, love & generosity.

Spring Cleanse Routine

Here's a short, gentle routine for Spring incorporating; mindful movements, yoga poses & deep breathing. The focus is to help cleanse the Liver, enhance the flow of Qi through the meridians, as well as creating more openness & flexibility in the hips.

Part 1 (8 mins)

Here's a short, gentle routine for Spring (this is part 1) incorporating; Mindful Movements, Yoga Poses & Deep Breathing to help cleanse the Liver & enhance the flow of Qi through the meridian channels.
There are two parts to this routine, a standing section (part 1) & a floor section (part 2). You can do the full routine or just choose one or the other.

'Lighten Life's'
Winter Yoga Routine
(15 mins)

Here's a short, gentle Yoga Routine for Winter time (or anytime!)
​In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Winter is associated with the Kidney & Bladder Meridian (Channels). This routine helps improve the flow of Qi (energy) along these channels, as well as helping to increase your back strength & flexibility, if done regularly.


I've done approx 4 - 6 repetitions of each movement. Once you are familiar with the movements & you would like to increase the difficulty, just add more repetitions.

My apologies for any confusion with my "right & left leg" instructions. You can just do the side that I am instructing, rather that what I am demonstrating. Even after all these years of teaching & filming, on occasions I still get mixed up, as some video making tech reverses what you see! 😄
